Tuesday 8th December saw several members supporting the Milpera State High School at their Exit Parade.

At the assembly President Mary-Ellen Nielsen presented to school with their Rotary Peace Pole, gifted by us to the school in recognition of their extraordinary contribution’s to supporting peace amongst refugees from all corners of the globe.

Following the assembly we hosted a BBQ for the students.

With COVID-19 still having an affect on meetings and gathering numbers for events, this year we have decided on a totally Virtual (online) event.

Last week saw the final packing bee for the International Student Food Relief Project, were we packed yet another 40 support packages to be distributed by our Project Partners “Together We Are Stronger”

Over the past few months we have supported hundreds of international university Students trapped here in Brisbane by the COVID-19 pandemic
