This week, we heard from Ben, who recently attended the RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) leadership camp. Ben spent the week learning important life and leadership skills and finding out more about himself. He admitted that at the camp he found out he was impatient and at times intolerant and closed minded. Through the team building and trust activities he learnt to be more open minded and tolerant. Ben has promised to share what he has learnt with others and ensure this enlightening experience is beneficial to more than just himself.
